WE’RE BACK! It’s downhill all the way to the end of term! To start us off on the home stretch we have two fascinating papers from Ailise Bulfin and Jane Mahony. Ailise will present ‘The Surprising Narrative of Richard Marsh’s “The Beetle” (1897): Late Victorian Egyptofiction and the Popular Gothic.’ Jane is going to speak to us about ‘Jane Barlow’s “Irish Idylls”: A New Perspective.”
If anyone is interested in taking over the reins of the seminar series next year, send us an email or find one of us for a chat.
Please do join us this Wednesday at 5pm in room 4047 for what promises to be a lively session. As always, we’ll head to the Duke afterwards and all are welcome.
