It’s that time of year! We are looking for proposals for presentations at the upcoming School of English seminar series. You can present on any aspect of your research and all topics are welcome. Are you struggling with a stubborn paper or looking for a fresh set of ears to listen to your latest groundbreaking theoretical insight? Then use the seminar series as a helpful (and seriously intelligent) forum to work out your current research issues! Are you new to the postgraduate game and suffering sleepless nights at the thought of presenting for the first time? Conquer your fears in a friendly and relaxed environment where everyone is on your side! Last year’s convenors, Gillian and Ian, created a vibrant programme that showcased the work that everyone in the School of English is doing and we hope to continue the high standards they (and everyone who presented!) set.

We are particularly interested in abstracts from early PhD candidates and those who have never presented before. Proposals from M.Phil students are also encouraged. Papers should be 20 minutes long. Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be sent to by 31st July.
